A Beacon of Compassion, Connection and Courage
Honorary Benefactor Tribute
🌸Evonne Chen Seok Kuan🌸
MASOC CARE proudly recognizes Evonne Chen Seok Kuan as an Honorary Benefactor, in appreciation for her invaluable contributions in shaping the future of senior care in Malaysia.
Evonne’s journey with us has been nothing short of transformational. She was more than a partner—she was a catalyst, a mentor, a storyteller, a fighter, and above all, a deeply compassionate human being who gave generously of her time, talents, and heart.
🤝 A Champion for Quality Senior Care
Evonne played a pivotal role in bridging MASOC CARE to a wider network of changemakers. One of her most impactful contributions was connecting us with key investors who went on to establish the first Kaigo Care Centre in Malaysia, right here in Perak. This milestone became the cornerstone for advancing professional caregiving in the region, enabling our shared vision to come to life.
But her influence extended far beyond a single introduction. Evonne continuously opened doors—between sectors, generations, and communities—fueling the momentum of our caregiving mission with each new collaboration she initiated.

🌱 Spreading Awareness Through Action
Evonne was a tireless advocate for caregiving awareness. Through a string of powerful public engagements, she helped plant seeds of empathy and understanding about aging and senior care across Malaysia. Whether on stage at universities, in town halls with government officials, or during outreach in schools and corporate events, her storytelling left audiences moved and inspired.
With grace and charisma, she wore many hats—emcee, facilitator, speaker, coordinator, and connector. Her ability to adapt and lead in any setting made her an irreplaceable presence at every event we organized. Beyond the microphone, she brought people together and united them with a common purpose: to care, to serve, and to uplift the most vulnerable among us.
💞 A Heart That Led with Compassion
To work with Evonne was to witness genuine compassion in motion. Behind the scenes, she mentored our team with generosity and warmth. She guided us through event planning, offered encouragement during setbacks, and shared personal stories that reminded us why we do what we do.
Her insights were never just technical—they were soul-stirring. She reminded us, especially in moments of fatigue or doubt, that caregiving is not just a service—it is a calling. Her unwavering belief in people reminded us of the long-term legacy we’re building.

Transforming Lives as an
Angels & Knights Benefactor
"The Mandarin phrase “天赋” means “talent.” When we break it down, the character “天” symbolizes angels (天使), while “赋” can be further deconstructed into “贝”—which represents treasure, and “武”, which signifies knights (武士).
There are many “angels and knights” among our younger generation — young talents who possess the talent & potential to thrive in the senior care industry. With proper caregiving training and a good career pathway in this growing field, they can be nurtured into precious treasures, capable of providing high-quality care not only for their own ageing family members but also for the elderly in their communities and even across borders.
Equally, those who step forward to become benefactors—who sponsor these youths in their caregiving education—are themselves precious treasures. By planting a seed through their generosity, these benefactors help transform a youth from “a nobody” into “a somebody.”"
